Do what feels good.

Hey, I’m Eliza.

It’s so lovely to meet you!

I use she/they pronouns and am a small fat, mixed race, queer person, a Registered Dietitian, community organiser and cook.

What I do:

My intention is to help all people find food joy. This happens in many ways; working with folks 1:1, supporting groups and communities in connecting with food, speaking, writing or cooking up a delicious meal.

1:1 dietetic counselling

I provide my clients with co-created care that affirms their lived experience, identity, body and values, and integrate medical nutrition therapy with person centred counselling approaches. I specialise in disordered eating and body liberation, and work with folks around a range of health conditions.

Groups & communities

The best thing about food is the way it brings people together, and I honour this by facilitating groups, organising cooking groups and community meals, and hosting workshops, writing and speaking on a range of topics.

I also work closely with National Food Service London, where I support neighbourhood food cooperatives and emerging community cooks.

My approach

I approach all my work with an intersectional, trauma informed perspective, embodying curiosity, respect and compassion, and recognise the broad and rich role that food holds in our lives. I’m particularly interested in food justice, fat and queer experiences and understanding food and body stories through the context of power, oppression & social justice. We eat for many reasons, but I believe that food should help us feel GOOD, whether that be through the sensory experience and pleasure of cooking and eating, through gentle nutrition, or through the connections it creates between us and our bodies, our families, communities and environment.

I’m always up for collaborating with interesting folks in creative ways, so if you’ve got an idea or project you think I might be well suited to, don’t be a stranger
